ทั้งนี้ Nexfish ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งหน่วยงานต้นแบบที่มุ่งขับเคลื่อนนวัตกรรมอาหารและผลิตภัณฑ์ประมง เพื่อสนับสนุนผู้ประกอบการ ชุมชน และนักศึกษา ให้สามารถพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ต้นแบบสู่การใช้ประโยชน์เชิงพาณิชย์ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและยั่งยืน
On May 26, 2026, the Nexfish Fisheries Product Innovation Processing Building, Faculty of Fisheries Technology and Aquatic Resources, Maejo University, warmly welcomed faculty members and staff from Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University on the occasion of their study visit and knowledge exchange on business incubation and management of a model food innovation facility.
During the session, the Nexfish team, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Daracha Thiammueang and Dr. Nongpanga Sangcharoen, shared their insights and experiences in developing “Nexfish” from its inception. The presentation covered the conceptual framework, establishment process, and the center’s role as a support hub for entrepreneurs in fisheries and processed food products.
The discussion highlighted Nexfish’s comprehensive service offerings, including:
- Research and Development (R&D)
- OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) production services
- Shelf-life testing and sensory evaluation
- Marketing support and product promotion
In addition, participants engaged in knowledge exchange on the management of a pilot-scale processing facility, covering key aspects such as facility preparation and plant layout design, obtaining food production licenses in accordance with the Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and designing efficient production lines tailored to different product categories. Topics also included strategies for cost calculation and pricing to support service provision for entrepreneurs.
Nexfish stands as a model innovation unit dedicated to advancing food innovation and fisheries products. It plays a vital role in supporting entrepreneurs, communities, and students in developing prototype products and transforming them into commercially viable and sustainable outcomes.
