วันที่ 8 สิงหาคม 2569 รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อภินันท์ สุวรรณรักษ์ คณบดีคณะเทคโนโลยีการประมงและทรัพยากรทางน้ำ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ เข้าร่วมงานประเพณี “บุญสิงห์ไพร” เพื่อร่วมสืบสานขนบธรรมเนียม ประเพณี และศิลปวัฒนธรรมอันทรงคุณค่าที่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของอัตลักษณ์และจิตวิญญาณแห่งมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้
ในโอกาสนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจาก ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ ดร.เทพ พงษ์พานิช เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด โดยมีผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ บุคลากร นักศึกษา และประชาคมแม่โจ้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศแห่งความศรัทธา ความอบอุ่น และความสามัคคี
ภายในงานมีการประกอบพิธีกรรมตามขนบประเพณีและกิจกรรมที่สะท้อนภูมิปัญญาและศิลปวัฒนธรรมล้านนา เปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาและผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้เรียนรู้คุณค่าของวัฒนธรรมผ่านประสบการณ์จริง พร้อมร่วมกันอนุรักษ์และถ่ายทอดมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมจากคนรุ่นหนึ่งสู่คนอีกรุ่นหนึ่ง
การเข้าร่วมงานของ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อภินันท์ สุวรรณรักษ์ ในครั้งนี้ ยังสะท้อนถึงการให้ความสำคัญกับการพัฒนานักศึกษาที่มิได้มุ่งเฉพาะความรู้และทักษะทางวิชาการเท่านั้น แต่ยังส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรม ความกตัญญู ความสามัคคี และความผูกพันต่อสถาบัน อันเป็นองค์ประกอบสำคัญของการพัฒนาบัณฑิตอย่างรอบด้าน
“บุญสิงห์ไพร” จึงเป็นมากกว่างานประเพณี หากแต่เป็นพื้นที่แห่งการเชื่อมโยงคนต่างรุ่น ถ่ายทอดภูมิปัญญาและคุณค่าจากอดีตสู่ปัจจุบัน พร้อมร่วมกันสืบสานจิตวิญญาณแห่งแม่โจ้ให้ดำรงอยู่สู่คนรุ่นต่อไป
On 8 August 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Apinun Suvarnaraksha, Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries Technology and Aquatic Resources, Maejo University, participated in the traditional “Boon Sing Phrai” Ceremony, an important cultural event that reflects the traditions, shared values, and distinctive spirit of the Maejo University community.
The opening ceremony was presided over by **Professor Emeritus Dr. Thep Phongparnich**, with university executives, faculty members, staff, students, and members of the Maejo community participating in the event. The ceremony was held in an atmosphere of respect, warmth, and unity, bringing together different generations of the Maejo community through shared cultural traditions.
The event featured traditional rituals and activities reflecting Lanna cultural heritage and local wisdom, providing students and participants with an opportunity to experience and appreciate cultural traditions through active participation. The ceremony also served as an important platform for preserving and transmitting cultural heritage from one generation to the next.
The participation of Associate Professor Dr. Apinun Suvarnaraksha also reflects the Faculty’s commitment to student development beyond academic and professional competencies. The Faculty recognizes the importance of promoting cultural awareness, gratitude, social responsibility, unity, and a strong sense of connection to the university community as essential elements of holistic student development.
The “Boon Sing Phrai” Ceremony is therefore more than a traditional event. It serves as a meaningful space connecting generations, transmitting cultural wisdom and shared values from the past to the present, and strengthening the enduring spirit and identity of Maejo University for future generations.
