คณะเทคโนโลยีการประมงและทรัพยากรทางน้ำ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ จัดกิจกรรม “FishFest 2026: Ocean Playground” ตลาดจำลองแห่งโลกธุรกิจประมง ระหว่างวันที่ 14-15 กันยายน 2569 ณ อาคารแผ่พืชน์ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ เพื่อเปิดพื้นที่การเรียนรู้ แลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ และส่งเสริมการพัฒนาธุรกิจประมงสู่ยุคใหม่
สำหรับกิจกรรมในวันที่ 14 กันยายน 2569 เริ่มต้นด้วยการแข่งขันเชิงสร้างสรรค์และนวัตกรรม ได้แก่ Creator Challenge และ Fish Tank AI Challenge ซึ่งเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้แสดงศักยภาพด้านการคิดสร้างสรรค์และการประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีในการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ประมง พร้อมด้วยการแข่งขันกินผลิตภัณฑ์ประมงและพิธีมอบรางวัลแก่ผู้ชนะ
ช่วงบ่ายมีพิธีเปิดงานอย่างเป็นทางการ โดยรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วีระพล ทองมา อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ พร้อมเยี่ยมชมนิทรรศการและบูธแสดงผลงานภายในงาน นอกจากนี้ยังมีพิธีลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้กับบริษัท โกรเบสต์คอร์โพเรชั่น จำกัด เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษา วิจัย และการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมประมง
อีกหนึ่งกิจกรรมสำคัญคือเวทีเสวนา “Fish Talk” ภายใต้หัวข้อ “อนาคตสัตว์น้ำจืดไทย: โอกาส ความท้าทาย และการสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มสู่ตลาดยุคใหม่” โดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิและผู้บริหารจากภาคเอกชน ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับทิศทางการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสัตว์น้ำของประเทศ และแนวทางเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของผู้ประกอบการไทย
ภายในงานยังมีกิจกรรม Fish Market เพื่อให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้เรียนรู้การตลาดและรูปแบบธุรกิจผลิตภัณฑ์ประมง รวมถึงกิจกรรม Fish Fit แอโรบิกเพื่อสุขภาพ และกิจกรรมสร้างเครือข่ายความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้ประกอบการ นักวิชาการ และผู้สนใจในวงการประมง ปิดท้ายด้วยการแสดงดนตรีโฟล์กซอง สร้างบรรยากาศแห่งการเรียนรู้และความร่วมมืออย่างสร้างสรรค์
งาน FishFest 2026 ถือเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการเชื่อมโยงภาคการศึกษา ภาคธุรกิจ และผู้ประกอบการประมง เพื่อร่วมขับเคลื่อนนวัตกรรม เพิ่มมูลค่าผลิตภัณฑ์ และสร้างโอกาสใหม่ให้กับอุตสาหกรรมประมงไทยในอนาคต.
The Faculty of Fisheries Technology and Aquatic Resources at Maejo University is organizing “FishFest 2026: Ocean Playground”, a mock fisheries business marketplace, on 14-15 September 2026 at the Phae Phuet Building, Maejo University. The event aims to provide a platform for learning, innovation, business development, and collaboration among students, academics, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals in Thailand’s fisheries sector.
Activities on 14 September 2026 began with a series of creative and innovation-focused competitions, including the Creator Challenge and the Fish Tank AI Challenge, which encouraged participants to apply creativity and emerging technologies to fisheries product development. The morning session also featured a fisheries product eating competition, followed by an award presentation ceremony for the winners.
The official opening ceremony took place in the afternoon and was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Weerapol Thongma, President of Maejo University, who also toured the exhibition booths and project showcases presented throughout the event.
A key highlight of the day was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Maejo University and Grobest Corporation Co., Ltd. The agreement aims to strengthen academic cooperation, research collaboration, and industry development in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
The event also featured the Fish Talk panel discussion on the topic, “The Future of Thailand’s Freshwater Aquaculture: Opportunities, Challenges, and Value Creation for Emerging Markets.” Industry leaders and experts shared perspectives on the future direction of Thailand’s aquatic animal sector, discussing strategies to enhance competitiveness and create higher-value products for both domestic and international markets.
Additional activities included Fish Market, an interactive learning session focused on fisheries product marketing and entrepreneurship, as well as Fish Fit, a health and wellness aerobics activity. The day concluded with a networking reception that brought together academics, business representatives, and fisheries stakeholders, accompanied by a live folk music performance.
FishFest 2026 serves as an important platform for connecting academia, industry, and entrepreneurs, fostering innovation, adding value to fisheries products, and creating new opportunities for the sustainable growth of Thailand’s fisheries industry.
