วันที่ 13 มีนาคม 2569 รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อภินันท์ สุวรรณรักษ์ คณบดีคณะเทคโนโลยีการประมงและทรัพยากรทางน้ำ เข้าร่วมงาน “60 ปี ปลานิลพระราชทานเพื่อปวงชนชาวไทย” จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 13–17 มีนาคม 2569 ณ Alive Park Hall ชั้น G ศูนย์การค้าฟิวเจอร์พาร์ค รังสิต เพื่อร่วมรำลึกถึงพระมหากรุณาธิคุณของ พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช รัชกาลที่ 9 ในโอกาสครบ 60 ปีแห่งพระราชทานพันธุ์ปลานิล เมื่อวันที่ 17 มีนาคม 2509
โครงการดังกล่าวสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงต้นกำเนิดของอุตสาหกรรมปลานิลไทยที่เติบโตจากพันธุ์ปลานิลจำนวนเพียง 50 ตัวที่ได้รับพระราชทาน จนกลายเป็นแหล่งโปรตีนสำคัญและสร้างรายได้ให้แก่ประชาชนอย่างยั่งยืนในปัจจุบัน

- เสวนา/Workshop: ผู้เชี่ยวชาญระดับประเทศร่วมแบ่งปันความรู้ด้านการเพาะเลี้ยงและอุตสาหกรรม
- ประกวด: การประกวดปลานิลยักษ์ และประกวดภาพวาด/ภาพถ่ายหัวข้อ “มีอยู่ มีกิน เพราะปลานิลของพ่อ”
- กิจกรรมพิเศษ: บริจาคโลหิตเฉลิมพระเกียรติ รับ ผ้ายันต์อักขระมงคล จากหลวงปู่ศิลา สิริจันโท
การเข้าร่วมงานครั้งนี้สะท้อนบทบาทของคณะเทคโนโลยีการประมงและทรัพยากรทางน้ำในการสนับสนุนองค์ความรู้ด้านประมง ต่อยอดคุณค่าของปลานิลพระราชทาน และร่วมผลักดันการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมประมงไทยให้แข็งแรงและยั่งยืนต่อไป
On 13 March 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Apinun Suvarnaraksha, Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries Technology and Aquatic Resources, joined the commemorative event “60 Years of Royal Gift Tilapia for the Thai People.” The event is held from 13–17 March 2026 at Alive Park Hall, G Floor, Future Park Rangsit, honoring the benevolence of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (Rama IX) on the 60th anniversary of the Royal presentation of Nile Tilapia to the Thai people on 17 March 1966.
This event highlights the remarkable journey of Thailand’s tilapia industry, which began with the Royal broodstock of only 50 fish. Today, the species has become one of the country’s most important protein sources and a sustainable livelihood for countless communities.
