วันที่ 29 พฤษภาคม 2569 คณะเทคโนโลยีการประมงและทรัพยากรทางน้ำ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ นำโดย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อภินันท์ สุวรรณรักษ์ ร่วมกับภาคีเครือข่ายภาคประชาสังคมและหน่วยงานในท้องถิ่น เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมพร้อมบรรยายพิเศษและขับเคลื่อน "แม่น้ำปิง: จากอดีตสู่อนาคต" ภายใต้แคมเปญ Ping Watch 2026 เพื่อสร้างความตระหนักรู้ด้านการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมให้กับเยาวชนและชุมชนในพื้นที่ ณ อำเภอเชียงดาว จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ภายในงานได้รับความสนใจจากคณะครู อาจารย์ และกลุ่มนักเรียนเยาวชนในพื้นที่เข้าร่วมรับฟังการบรรยายในหัวข้อ "Freshwater Fish of Thailand: Biodiversity • Ecology • Conservation • Human Livelihoods" (ปลาน้ำจืดของประเทศไทย: ความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ นิเวศวิทยา การอนุรักษ์ และวิถีชีวิตมนุษย์) ซึ่งมุ่งเน้นการให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับภาพรวมทางอนุกรมวิธาน (Taxonomic Overview) พฤติกรรม และความสำคัญของระบบนิเวศทางน้ำในลุ่มน้ำปิงตอนบนไฮไลท์สำคัญของกิจกรรม การถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้จากผู้เชี่ยวชาญ: รศ.ดร.อภินันท์ สุวรรณรักษ์ ได้เปิดเผยถึงดัชนีชี้วัดความอุดมสมบูรณ์ของแม่น้ำปิงผ่านสายพันธุ์ปลาน้ำจืดชนิดต่างๆ พร้อมเน้นย้ำถึงวิถีชีวิตของชุมชนที่ผูกพันกับสายน้ำ ซึ่งจำเป็นต้องอาศัยการอนุรักษ์อย่างยั่งยืนการมอบประกาศนียบัตรและโปสเตอร์ส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้: มีพิธีมอบเกียรติบัตรให้แก่ตัวแทนเยาวชนที่เข้าร่วมโครงการ พร้อมทั้งแจกโปสเตอร์ "ปลาแม่น้ำโขงและปลาน้ำจืด" เพื่อใช้เป็นสื่อการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกในการจำแนกสายพันธุ์ปลาและต่อยอดการเฝ้าระวังระบบนิเวศในท้องถิ่นต่อไปการลงพื้นที่จริง: คณะทำงานและผู้เชี่ยวชาญได้ลงพื้นที่สำรวจสภาพแวดล้อมบริเวณลุ่มน้ำเชียงดาว โดยมีฉากหลังเป็นดอยหลวงเชียงดาว เพื่อประเมินสถานการณ์ทางนิเวศวิทยาและวางแนวทางในการทำงานวิจัยภาคสนามร่วมกับชุมชนโครงการ Ping Watch 2026 ในครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการบ่มเพาะ "นักสืบสายน้ำ" รุ่นใหม่ในพื้นที่เชียงดาว ให้มีความรู้ความเข้าใจ และพร้อมที่จะเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการปกป้อง ดูแล รักษาทรัพยากรทางน้ำของแม่น้ำปิงให้อุดมสมบูรณ์อย่างยั่งยืนสืบไปMay 29, 2026 – The Faculty of Fisheries Technology and Aquatic Resources at Maejo University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Apinun Suvarnaraksha, partnered with civil society networks and local authorities to launch the "Ping River: From Past to Future" campaign under the Ping Watch 2026 initiative. Held in Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai Province, the event aimed to raise environmental awareness and promote aquatic resource conservation among local youth and communities.The event drew significant interest from local teachers, instructors, and students, who gathered to attend a special lecture titled "Freshwater Fish of Thailand: Biodiversity • Ecology • Conservation • Human Livelihoods." The session provided a comprehensive taxonomic overview, explored aquatic behaviors, and highlighted the vital ecological importance of the Upper Ping River Basin.Key Highlights of the Event:Expert Knowledge Sharing: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aphinun Suvarnaraksha shared insights on using various freshwater fish species as bioindicators of the Ping River's health. He emphasized the deep connection between local livelihoods and the river, underscoring the urgent need for sustainable conservation.Empowering Youth with Educational Media: Certificates of participation were awarded to youth representatives. Additionally, educational posters featuring "Mekong River and Freshwater Fish" were distributed as active learning tools to help students identify fish species and monitor their local ecosystems.Field Exploration: The working group and experts conducted a field survey in the Chiang Dao watershed, framed by the iconic Doi Luang Chiang Dao mountain range, to assess the current ecological status and lay the groundwork for collaborative field research with the community.The Ping Watch 2026 project marks a significant milestone in nurturing a new generation of "River Detectives" in Chiang Dao. Equipped with ecological knowledge, these young citizens are now ready to play a crucial role in protecting, restoring, and sustaining the rich aquatic resources of the Ping River for generations to come.

คณะเทคโนโลยีการประมงและทรัพยากรทางน้ำ จับมือ วิทยาลัยภาวนาโพธิคุณ เดินหน้าโมเดล “เกษตรหมุนเวียน” หนุนความมั่นคงทางอาหาร ผลิตปลาดุกป้อนโรงครัว 400 ชีวิตบนเกาะสมุย | Maejo University Partners with Bhavana Bodhigun Vocational College for "Circular Agriculture" Model to Secure Food Supply for 400 Students on Koh Samui

ระหว่างวันที่ 23-24 พฤษภาคม 2569 รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อภินันท์ สุวรรณรักษ์ คณบดีคณะเทคโนโลยีการประมงและทรัพยากรทางน้ำ ได้ลงพื้นที่ปฏิบัติงานร่วมกับวิทยาลัยภาวนาโพธิคุณ อำเภอเกาะสมุย จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี เพื่อให้คำปรึกษาและวางแนวทางการดำเนินงาน “โครงการเลี้ยงปลาเพื่อเป็นอาหารกลางวันนักเรียน” มุ่งเน้นการสร้างแหล่งโปรตีนที่พึ่งพาตนเองได้อย่างยั่งยืน ควบคู่ไปกับการบริหารจัดการขยะเหลือทิ้งให้เป็นศูนย์ (Zero Waste)?? ยกระดับการผลิตปลาดุกสู่เป้าหมาย 700 กก./สัปดาห์จากการลงพื้นที่หารือและสำรวจโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน ทางมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ได้ร่วมวางแผนการบริหารจัดการระบบบ่อเลี้ยงปลาดุก (บ่อกลม) รวมทั้งหมด 11 บ่อ ประกอบด้วย:บ่อขนาดใหญ่ (เส้นผ่าศูนย์กลาง 17 เมตร): จำนวน 7 บ่อบ่อขนาดเล็ก (เส้นผ่าศูนย์กลาง 8 เมตร): จำนวน 4 บ่อโดยตั้งเป้าหมายการผลิตปลาดุกให้ได้ผลผลิตสม่ำเสมอที่ 500 - 700 กิโลกรัมต่อสัปดาห์ เพื่อส่งเข้าสู่โรงครัวของวิทยาลัย นำไปปรุงเป็นอาหารที่มีคุณค่าทางโภชนาการสำหรับนักเรียนจำนวนกว่า 400 คน รวมถึงการต่อยอดนำไปแปรรูปเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์มูลค่าเพิ่ม เช่น "ไส้กรอกปลาดุก" เพื่อสร้างทักษะอาชีพให้กับเยาวชน?? ชูนวัตกรรมอาหารสัตว์ 50:50 ลดต้นทุน-กำจัดของเสียไฮไลต์สำคัญของโครงการนี้คือการประยุกต์ใช้แนวคิด เกษตรหมุนเวียน (Circular Agriculture) เพื่อลดต้นทุนค่าอาหารสัตว์ ซึ่งเป็นหัวใจหลักของการพึ่งพาตนเอง โดยมีแนวทางดังนี้:สูตรอาหารปลาดุกคนละครึ่ง: ปรับลดการใช้อาหารเม็ดสำเร็จรูปลง 50% แล้วทดแทนด้วย "หนอนแมลงวันลาย (Black Soldier Fly Larvae)" ที่เพาะเลี้ยงจากเศษผักเหลือทิ้งจากการตัดแต่งในโรงครัว ช่วยลดต้นทุนและกำจัดขยะอินทรีย์ไปพร้อมกันโมเดลแหนแดงสู่ปลากินพืช: นอกจากการเลี้ยงปลาดุกแล้ว ยังมีการส่งเสริมการเลี้ยง "แหนแดง" เพื่อใช้เป็นอาหารหลักสำหรับเลี้ยงปลากินพืช เช่น ปลานิล และปลาสลิด ช่วยเพิ่มความหลากหลายของแหล่งอาหารในสถานศึกษา?? แท็กทีม "ศิษย์เก่าแม่โจ้สมุย" ร่วมขับเคลื่อนวิชาการในการลงพื้นที่ครั้งนี้ คณะทำงานยังได้ร่วมประชุมหารือกับเครือข่าย ศิษย์เก่ามหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ในพื้นที่เกาะสมุย เพื่อสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการในระยะยาว โดยศิษย์เก่าจะเข้ามามีบทบาทในการเป็นพี่เลี้ยง ขับเคลื่อนเทคโนโลยีการเกษตร และช่วยหนุนเสริมการจัดการด้านการตลาดและการแปรรูปสัตว์น้ำ เพื่อให้โครงการดังกล่าวกลายเป็นโมเดลต้นแบบด้านความมั่นคงทางอาหารของชุมชนบนพื้นที่เกาะอย่างยั่งยืนต่อไปFrom May 23–24, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Apinun Suvarnaraksha, Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries Technology and Aquatic Resources at Maejo University, led a working team to collaborate with Bhavana Bodhigun Vocational College in Koh Samui, Surat Thani. The mission focused on providing expert consultation and strategic planning for the"Fish Farming for Student School Lunches"project. The initiative aims to establish a self-sustaining protein source while championing a Zero-Waste approach through circular economy principles.?? Scaling Catfish Production to Target 700 kg/WeekFollowing an on-site infrastructure assessment, Maejo University co-developed a management plan for a total of 11 circular catfish ponds, categorized as follows:Large Ponds (17-meter diameter):7 pondsSmall Ponds (8-meter diameter):4 pondsThe project targets a consistent yield of500 – 700 kilograms of catfish per week. This harvest will supply the college's kitchen to provide nutritious meals for over 400 students. Additionally, the surplus will be used for value-added food processing, such as producing"Catfish Sausages,"offering vital vocational and entrepreneurial skills to the youth.?? Highlighting a 50:50 Feed Innovation to Cut Costs and Manage WasteA key highlight of this project is the integration ofCircular Agricultureto dramatically reduce animal feed costs—the primary expense in aquaculture—by implementing two eco-friendly strategies:The 50:50 Catfish Feed Formula:Commercial pellet feed will be reduced by 50% and substituted withBlack Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL). These larvae are bioconverted from organic kitchen waste and vegetable scraps, effectively cutting production costs while eliminating school food waste.The Azolla-to-Herbivorous Fish Model:In tandem with catfish farming, the project promotes cultivatingAzolla (mosquito fern)as the primary feed for herbivorous species like Nile Tilapia and Snakeskin Gourami, diversifying the school's sustainable food sources.?? Synergizing with "Maejo Alumni Samui" for Long-Term Academic SupportDuring the visit, the delegation also held a strategic meeting with theMaejo University Alumni Network in Koh Samuito forge long-term academic and technical cooperation. The alumni will serve as local mentors, driving agricultural technology transfer and supporting market linkages and seafood processing. This collaboration ensures the initiative serves as a resilient blueprint for food security in island communities.
