10 มิถุนายน 2569 รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อภินันท์ สุวรรณรักษ์ คณบดีคณะเทคโนโลยีการประมงและทรัพยากรทางน้ำ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ เข้าพบ ดร.ฐิติพร หลาวประเสริฐ อธิบดีกรมประมง เพื่อหารือแนวทางความร่วมมือด้านวิชาการ การวิจัย และการพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรด้านการประมงและทรัพยากรทางน้ำของประเทศ
ในการหารือครั้งนี้ ทั้งสองหน่วยงานได้ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับทิศทางการพัฒนางานวิจัยด้านการประมงและทรัพยากรทางน้ำ เพื่อรองรับความท้าทายสำคัญในปัจจุบัน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นประเด็นความมั่นคงทางอาหาร การเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ การอนุรักษ์ความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพทางน้ำ ตลอดจนการบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรประมงอย่างยั่งยืน
นอกจากนี้ ยังได้หารือถึงแนวทางการพัฒนาบุคลากรร่วมกันในทุกระดับ ทั้งนักวิจัย นักวิชาการ และนิสิตนักศึกษา ผ่านรูปแบบกิจกรรมที่หลากหลาย อาทิ การฝึกอบรม การศึกษาดูงาน และการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ รวมถึงการสนับสนุนการดำเนินโครงการวิจัยร่วมระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้และกรมประมง เพื่อยกระดับขีดความสามารถด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรมการประมงของประเทศ
การพบปะหารือในครั้งนี้นับเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันอุดมศึกษาและหน่วยงานภาครัฐ โดยมุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ บุคลากร และนวัตกรรมด้านการประมง อันจะนำไปสู่การเสริมสร้างความมั่นคงทางอาหาร การใช้ประโยชน์ทรัพยากรทางน้ำอย่างยั่งยืน และการยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชนไทยในระยะยาว
June 10, 2026 — Associate Professor Dr. Apinun Suvarnaraksha, Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries Technology and Aquatic Resources at Maejo University, paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Thitiporn Laoprasert, Director-General of the Department of Fisheries, to discuss collaborative approaches in academic affairs, research, and human resource development in the field of fisheries and aquatic resources.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on strategic directions for advancing research in fisheries and aquatic resource management. The discussions addressed key challenges, including food security, climate change, aquatic biodiversity conservation, and the sustainable management of fisheries resources.
In addition, the two organizations explored joint initiatives to develop human resources at all levels—researchers, academics, and students—through training programs, study visits, and knowledge exchange activities. They also discussed support for collaborative research projects between Maejo University and the Department of Fisheries, aimed at strengthening national capabilities in fisheries science, technology, and innovation.
This meeting marks an important step in reinforcing collaboration between higher education institutions and government agencies. The partnership is expected to contribute to the advancement of knowledge, workforce development, and innovation in the fisheries sector, ultimately promoting food security, sustainable utilization of aquatic resources, and improved quality of life for the Thai people in the long term.
